What is FixYa? – Solutions for Everything

This is their motto “Solutions for Everything” and this is the aim of the Fixya website. Hundreds of experts with years of experience in a variety of technical areas can provide you with free solutions to problems you may have with faulty products or explain how to use features of the product which you may not understand.

What Types of Appliances are Covered?

Kitchen appliances, major appliances such as washing machines, TV  video and HIFI, power tools, garden equipment like lawnmowers and hedge trimmers, cell phones, computers, cars and other vehicles, GPS, etc.

Is it Free?

Yes, questions can be asked and answered free. Fixya launched the “marketplace” scheme which went live during September 2011. As an alternative to free answers, customers can get dedicated help from an expert until a problem is solved by paying a fee. If you are not happy with the outcome, you may cancel the payment fee.

The Marketplace Scheme

If you have technical expertise with any product, you can become a Fixya premium expert and help people. You can also setup a service on the site and earn money by providing solutions to customers.
